How cats came to Spain
Cats are now in Spain because of the Romans, but they
also had a good life in Egypt. Yes, cats don´t arise in Rome; they are from
Egypt. In ancient times the cats were a very important part of a big civilization
like Egypt. They were the pharaohs’ pet and the pet of the gods! There are about
100 types of cats now, but in Roman and Egyptian times less than 10 types of
this beautiful animal existed.
I think that having this animal in your house is a
very beautiful experience.
